    i'm not so sure about that! what if it was only a decoy? of course, he won't be running around his country and expose himself to people who're so itching to get a piece of him.. right? uhmm just a thought.. but if it is true, then thank God! :)

    when my officemate gave me the link to the news, i didn't read the whole article.. i merely scanned the title and the first few lines and X-ed out on the site.. i just don't fall for stories like that.. but my mom argued that the US had a DNA test on the body to prove it is THE osama bin laden.. how do they know that it was his DNA they used and not some decoy again? he is an intelligent man and he most probably won't give the US that satisfaction.. right?! hahaha

It is only because I love San Miguel Pale Pilsen too much, and I do not want it to suffer the same fate as my other love, Winston Reds, that I am doing this for free. If someone can get the word out, and pass the message to the people at McCann Erickson (are they still handling San Miguel?), please do so. Product positioning. I heard that San Miguel Pale Pilsen has been suffering in sales in recent years. The reason why it is getting harder and harder to find it in the cheaper carinderia cum restobars (my favorite hangout). The younger consumers think San Miguel Pale Pilsen is "daddy's beer". That McCann would "idiotly" (if that is even an adverb) continue with the "isang platitong mani" ads, which is Bay Elorde vintage, does not help. What are you thinking? Is punks finally dead?

Graphic copied from here. There was a time, believe it or not, when the declaration on the graphic above was a fairly common sight in Metro Manila. Enough that it was a minor nuisance, like jejemons are right now, I suppose. From t-shirt prints, to vandalisms on walls, to fake tattoo s on prepubescent punkistas. Never mind that the declaration was total nonsense. It was popular. And so just about every lemming youth who wanted to be different -- like his peers, rode on the bandwagon. I wonder if these people ever learned the meaning of "irony"?  Where are they now? Did they grow up to become the guy whose job is to call passengers to fill up jeepneys? Did any of these punkistas ever make it as a bank executive? Are there call center agents now who ever wore a "punks not dead" t-shirt? I have not seen a t-shirt, a vandalism, or a fake "punks not dead" tattoo in years. Is punks finally dead? Is it safe to declare that here now? Alright. Let me...
