Fringe benefits
I always have a bag ready and packed with a week's worth of clothes. That is because my job requires me to travel out of town on a moments' notice. It is hard and sometimes it gets to me. But as fringe benefits go, how's this for a view? Fernando Amorsolo himself couldn't have painted a better picture.
San Narciso, Zambales |
and neither can Zynga.
ReplyDeleteWow, nice. Take me! Take me! Take me durrrr! Hehe!
ReplyDeleteDude, I've been on such trips and I ended up hating it. I was just a lowly office staff and I barely had the chance to enjoy while babysitting the oldies. Hehehe. But the Scenery is indeed something worth being the documentor. (Whenever I'm the Documentor, I handle the camera so I'm free to take snapshots while travelling to the location. Pity I lost the files. :(
ReplyDeleteAnyway, maybe when I finally get a gar of my own, I'll make it a point to travel to the countryside and take in the fresh air.
Like thoughts that come unto my head, the same voices whispering to me "Behold, the canvass painted by the hand of God".
I'm missin' it already. Sana lang, sa susunod na punta ko sa bandang province, di na ako babysitter. hehehe.
If ever you guys are driving to Zambales (or Subic), take the NLEX then the SCTEX. The scenery is quite breathtaking especially early in the morning when the sun has just risen. Yes, God did a pretty good job.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the last time we passed there, I was too tired to keep myself from falling asleep. Lol!
ReplyDeleteAng ganda, Don Dee!
Ganda.
Onan, the view is just 15 minutes away from the main highway. Actually, the view from the main highway itself is quite spectacular. And if you are riding a bike from Subic to Iba, I think you would quite enjoy it. Nice roads and not much traffic, and of course, breathtaking vistas.
